From Wednesday 7th June, we will be back at Tottenhill for the first of our three 25-mile TTs, with the option to do 13 miles.
The lower race numbers will be allocated to those riders doing 13 miles, and so signing-on will be for this distance only until 6:15pm.
After this, 25-mile entrants can sign on, with priority being given to the slower riders as usual.
If you would like to do 13 miles but do not think that you’ll be able to get to Tottenhill by 6:15, please let me know in advance (firstname.lastname@example.org), and I will reserve a number for you.
You will only be eligible for championship points if you do the full 25 miles, as they are primarily billed as 25-mile races.
We have three marshalling points for the 25-mile circuit, so your help would be much appreciated if you wouldn’t mind volunteering.
No brakes. No gears. No fear. Our Go Ride youngsters have had plenty of practice demonstrating their competence at riding road, MTB, CX and grass track, and on Wednesday 12th April, they got the chance to experience the thrills of riding the boards of an indoor velodrome. (more…)
Sorry, but I’ve taken the decision to call off tonight’s TT. This rain just isn’t going to clear. I’ve just been out for a ride to check the conditions: it’s chucking it down, the light is very poor and there’s a lot of standing water on the roads. It wouldn’t be safe to race on 60mph roads.
